Many clubs, organizations, or church groups have a Secret Sister Program.

People who choose to participate will be given a questionnaire form to fill out, highlighting their interests.

Each participant randomly selects another person's filled out questionnaire, or a leader will assign them a name.

No one, but the leader in charge of the master list, knows who anyone else has selected.  It is a secret.

Each person assigned to another participant is in charge of secretly blessing that other person for a given period of time.

Participants encourage their Secret Sister through small gifts, cards, and prayers throughout a specified length of time.  

The challenging part is keeping identities a secret.  This means sending gifts or sneaking gifts to a pick-up area. 

Some groups run their Secret Sister programs for a month, or even as long as a year.

At the end of the specified time, the group will often host a "reveal" party, where participants discover who has been blessing them.
