Start Your Own Secret Sister Group
The Secret Sister concept sounds like fun, doesn't it?
If you want to start your own group, the process is rather easy.
First, find people who would like to participate in the group.
Have all participants fill out a questionnaire so her Secret Sister can know her interests, making gift giving thoughtful and appropriate. (We have printable questionnaires for you to use!) Questionnaire
Have one person in charge of the master list, so any issues can be addressed. (Printable Master List Below) masterlist.pdf
The person in charge can assign names randomly, or allow each participant to choose an envelope with a completed questionnaire.
All match-ups should be noted on the master list. The master list should only be seen by the leader.
If a person draws their own name, have them select again.
Make the rules clear. Set reasonable monetary limits for gifts, and express expectations about contact frequency.
The leader should keep tabs on the participants. If someone doesn't hear from their Secret Sister, the leader can address the issue.
Plan a Reveal Party at the end of the specified time frame, where participants reveal their Secret Sister identities.
